Welcome to the Paranoid Life

Are you living the paranoid life? Should you be?  Maybe you have the courage of John McCain when he was a POW until you enter into a public restroom or handle raw eggs.

The question isn't is something out to get you the question is what is it? Maybe it is the mob or a meteors, microorganisms or the Manhattan Project, mad cow or a megalomaniac... he, she, they or it is out to get you unless you are vigilant ... unless you live the paranoid life.   As Andy Grove wrote "only the paranoid survive" you know that even if everyone else is doing it, even if statisticians say is extremely unlikely, we know it is better to play it safe.

In each post we will explore how to live the paranoid in a different domain of life.  We will explore various levels of commitment to your paranoia in each post.

Paranoia level 1 is the lowest level of commitment. More or less you can function at this level with some simple changes of behavior.   For something to qualify for paranoia level 1 no additional supplies are needed.

Paranoia level 2 is for those who are committed to being prepared with both information and appropriate supplies to maximize your safety.

Paranoia level 3 is when complete avoidance is the only option. Since complete avoidance of certain domains comes at some cost we will explore ways to make this cost less consequential.

We hope you can enjoy reading abount and even living the paranoid life.
